Category: Save your Commodore [War game] - for finale
Instead of playing with water bombs, which usually lasts only 5 minutes and wastes tonnes of water, this is a game that requires strategizing, it adopts a computer game where the mission is to gain as many points as possible vis
1. Conquering another team's Commodore - worth 300 points
2. Conquering another team's Captains - worth 100 points
3. Collecting lightsticks/any other kind of item that can be handheld - oh no! now i found a use for the lightsticks that gordon gave out! HAHA - different colour different points
Each team has 1 commodore, 2 captains and their faces will have the camouflage face thingy so that other teams know who they are. lives are connoted by a strip of cloth tucked into ur shorts, once it is pulled out by an attacker, u lose ur life and have to go back to the revival station where water/blindfold games will be held.
For now, I'll not go into too much detail cos of time constraint but will draft out a more elaborate one if we decide to play this.
Time required: 45min would be optimal.. (i played it for 2 hours, heh)

Category: Slippery soapy tackle [Station Games]
guys on guy and girls vs girls.
Need a blue mat (construction site kind), pour detergent/soap to make it slippery
aim of game: get the other person out of the mat area
a few rounds
Time required: 10 minutes for each group
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Category: musical chairs with a twist
musical chairs with tasks to be done before sitting (e.g go touch the vending machine before sitting)
and the chairs will be smeared with mud/kaya/peanut butter/ketchup

PAINTING OF KALEO ROOM :]
Hi all!
Hope you're all doing well :D
All those who are interested to contribute your ideas/input, feel free to log on to the blog and BLOG :) or add to this post, stating your name!
Currently, the plan is to have 4 main background colours PINK, GREEN, BLUE, ORANGE. and we will need one can of white (to create the shading of colours) and a few black cans(for the silhouette).
design: http://thesavageworld.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/youth.jpg
Not sure if we wanna budget (think this will be discussed on saturday over lunch right? - i won't be there tho.) Yidong and Atticus can be our consultants :) If we budget then maybe 2/3 colours then we alternate?
To design, try the free trial of this designing tool :) not sure if it is user-friendly :P

Debrief for Teenplay(22/5/11)
Just a few pointers to take note:
1. How are we going to encourage the kaleolites to come to these events and to interact with the BB/GB, or even to want to come to kaleo sessions. Are we not their friends?
2. What is the objectives of the event? if it is to integrate them(BB/GB/Kaleo), we should have a introducing time and have more interactive games instead of "individual effort" games. (time should allow for intro if during parade timing)
3. Try to minimise the KST people standing around and doing nothing. If we have no role to play, we should join in the games to interact with them and to rawr rawr the group. Also, we should think of ways in which we can be involved/help, and try to think of possible scenarios that could happen.
4. The groupings could be in their own squad, so that they are more comfortable and will be more outgoing, and reduces the time needing to splilt them up. However, will they just stick to their own squad and less interaction between the BB/GB/Kaleo? But would it be at least better than currently?
please add anything if u want :) i couldnt remember all ><

Venue: Level 1 Carpark
Duration: 20-25 minutes
Materials required:
Objective: The team that obtains the most number of points at the end of the game wins.
Venue: Level 1 Carpark
Duration: 20-25 minutes
Materials required:
- Pearls
- Drinking Straws
- Plastic bags (the ones where it has a string)
- 12 Pieces of cardboard
- 6 Benches/rectangular tables
- 9 Newspapers
- 2 Pails
- Bags of pearls (Each "shooter" to have 1 bag)
- Straws (Each "shooter" to have 1)
- 50 Plastic bags (For the water bombs)
- 2 Pieces of cardboard (For the "defenders")
- 1 Pail (Half-filled)
- Set up the benches/rectangular tables, 3 on each side, indicated by the blue boxes
- Mark a line behind these benches to show the base boundary, indicated by the green boxes.
- Fill each pail half-full for the water bombs and place it in inside the base, indicated by the purple circles/
- Pearls to be distributed into the plastic bags (each team member is given 1 bag only)
- Place the remaining plastic bags beside the pail to be used as water bombs
- Place the newspaper in the middle of the "battlefield", indicated by the red box.
- After briefing, each team is given 2 minutes strategical time. In this 2 minutes, each team is to choose 1 "retriever", 2 "defenders" and the rest will be "shooters".
- Only the "retrievers" can take the scroll. *Take note that the scroll cannot be torn, the "retriever" which snatches the newspaper and tears it in the process will have to drop the newspaper and go back to base and have a 10 seconds stand out* The "defenders" are given a cardboard each which is their "shield". The "defenders" can only hold the "shields" and nothing else. They are to use it to protect themselves and the "retriever" from oncoming pearls and water bombs. They cannot pass the "shields" to any other team members throughout the game with the exception of a change of position. (See point 7 below.)
- The "shooters" are given a straw each. Their job is to shoot pearls using the straws and/or throw water bombs at the other team members, most importantly the "retriever" and the "defenders". They can also make more water bombs at their own base, provided if they still have water and plastic bags. They cannot re-fill the water in the pail nor take more plastic bags. "Shooters" who have used up their pearls will not get a re-fill and have to use water bombs.
- The pails containing the water can be moved from its current position, but it must be inside the base.
- Any team member who is hit by a pearl for the 4th time or hit by a water bomb once is considered "killed" and has to go back to base and have a 2 minutes stand out. During this stand out time, they are not allowed to make more water bombs. This rule applies to all, including "retrievers" and "defenders". "Retrievers" who are "killed" while holding the scroll have to drop the "scroll" at where they are, and go back to base. However, "defenders" do not drop their "shields".
- A point is awarded to each opponent team member who is "killed". 3 points is awarded to the team whose "retriever" reaches back to base with the "scroll".
- If any team members wishes to change position with another team member, for example a "shooter" wishes to change with a "defender", they must notify the Game-master and the game will be paused. The two members will then exchange position and stand at where the other person was at. Each team is allowed only 1 change of position. It is at this time, the "defenders" are allowed to pass the "shields" to the other person, while the "shooters" pass all their straw, pearls and water bombs to the other person.

Dog and Bone GAMEPLAN!:D
ICE BREAKER GAME: Dog and Bone with food relay
Venue: Carpark
Duration: 25 minutes
Duration: 25 minutes
Materials needed:
· 2 stools (to prop the ‘bone’)
· 2 items (used as bone)
· Newspapers and garbage bag
· Each group: (x6)
1 )plastic bag
1 )plastic bag
(Each washed, wrapped and labeled separately):
2) 1 raw celery stick
3) 1 apple
4) 1 raw carrot stick
5) 1 small pack of potato chips
6) 1 cup(kfc mashed potato med size) of freshly squeeze concentrated lemon juice
7) 1 can of coke
8) 1 piece of bitter dark chocolate
9) 10 groundnuts (eaten with chopsticks(disposable))
10)Half a watermelon (2 spoon(disposable))
Manpower needed:
· 1 game master
· 2 score keeper(facilitate game)
· 2 game referees(check if food is finished)
Preparation:
1. Place stool in the centre. Bone on top of it
2. Place each of the food items in the bag, wrapped and labelled clearly
3. Place the bags surrounding the stool
4. Place markings of the triangle that they are supposed to stand at
Steps:
1. Separate the groups in their two game areas(1,3,5 and 2,4,6)
2. Get them to gather in their groups and number themselves.
3. After they are done, line up randomly along the “triangle”.
4. Game score keeper to facilitate the games respectively (call out number.)
5. The person who is that number from each group runs out to the bag and finds the food labelled with his number, and attempts to finish the food item as soon as possible.
6. When the item is eaten, he must shout for game referees(do we want them to shout something interesting or just a “done”?) and must get a green light from the referee before he can proceed to grab the object on top of the stool and run back while trying not to get tapped by members from the other teams.
7. If the person whose number is called is unable/unwilling to eat that particular food item, referee decides what he wants to do at a case-by-case basis.
8. Repeat step 3-6 till every number is called out. (feel free to re-call if time permits it, leaving 5 mins for watermelon)
9. The last round, call out a random number and let him eat for approx half minute. Then instruct them to bring watermelon(including the bag) to their allocated newspaper-laid areas near their base(don’t ask the group to go to the centre), and group will help him to eat. Once finished, they are to exchange the skin for the “bone”.
(referee to ensure that skin is clean and does not have too much watermelon left)
Aim: To get the most amount of points by the end of XX rounds
(Successful win-2 points, tapping-1 point, watermelon round: winner-5 points, 2nd-3 points, last-1 point)
(Successful win-2 points, tapping-1 point, watermelon round: winner-5 points, 2nd-3 points, last-1 point)
Rules and regulations:
1. One is only allowed to tap the person with the bone when he is also done with the food item.
2. The food must be swallowed before it is considered as finished(decided by the referees)
3. Whatever utensils is left with the object must be used in the process of eating it
